What are knish?

A knish is a traditional European Jewish snack. It is savory dough filled with a variety of things, but traditionally potato, sauerkraut, corned beef, or cheese and can be baked, grilled or fried. We bake all of ours, and recommend that you do too. Knish (קניש) first came to the US in the early 1900s and became popular in New York City.

Knish Flavors

Classic potato & onion

A real classic! This is the "gold standard" when it comes to knish, and once you taste it you will know why!

Sweet potato & marshmallow

This is Thanksgiving in a knish! We don't add any sugar as this is plently sweet on its own.

The ultimate Jewish/Indian fusion! Eat a samosa without the guilt of frying!

Spinach Pie

A Greek classic made handheld in a Knish! You can try one, but we are warning you, these are like potato chips, you can't eat just one!

Special of the week

This changes all the time so check our social media pages, or better yet come see us on Saturdays at the farmer's market to find out what it is!
